Help! Sick chick - coccidiosis?

WHAT?!?!?! The chick died???!!?!??!?!!?? oh my god i am so sorry she barely got to live. administer electrolytes. check poop and any sign for coccidiosis.

Yes she died very quickly after I discovered her. What does coccidiosis poop look like?

My chicks seem to have coccidiosis but they are managing fine. I ordered Corid and its supposed to come this friday. I used save-a-chick electrolytes and probiotics. Sorry for your loss.

Symptoms of coccidiosis include weight loss, paleness, ruffled feathers, unwillingness to eat, and watery or bloody diarrhea. Make sure to look for those symptoms.

like that or maybe extremely watery. browse through the pictures to get a better image of what you should be looking out for as well. for now, separate the two chicks from each other. you don't want one to infect the other. just look at their poop

Common symptoms of coccidiosis are lethargy, sitting fluffed up, not eating or drinking well, runny, mucousy, or sometimes bloody droppings. It's very hard to say what happened to the one that died. It could have been failure to thrive (you mentioned it was small) or something internal that didn't go quite right during development or hatch. I would watch the other two, see how they do.

just put in 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water, and make sure that corid-water is their only water source. you want to make sure that the medicine is properly administered to them.
