HELP sick chick UPDATE:chick died now what

well i tried putting a fake "friend" in with it and it was terrified. So I removed the washcloth. I spoke with the lady I got it from and there have been no other reported deaths. Knowing that I'm thinking maybe I missed something with the chick and it was not doing as well as I had thought. I have only had chicks one time before. I feel a bit better about disease though. I think I will wait a bit and on my next day off, Saturday, try putting the Sebright with the younger bantams. I can keep an eye on them and see how it goes. If it doesn't work, I guess I will look for a similar age/size chick to go with the sebright. The husband is going to kill me.

Any other opinions regarding integrating the chicks would be great. thanks to everyone that replied though.

sorry I missed your post this morning, and sorry it didn't take to fake chick, I'd still try a stuffed toy chick you could probably find one at a dollar store.. and your idea about waiting till you can be home to moniter when putting them all together is a good idea. keep us posted on how it goes..

Well, I came inside to some loud cheeping today went to check on the chicks and the single one somehow got in with the bantams. Looked like the bantams were picking on the sebright a bit but they settled down quickly. I have no idea how the sebright got in there to begin with. I will keep an eye out and see how it goes.
