I have been hatching eggs all spring i have some 2 and 3 month olds doing great. My last batch is some mil fluers and silkies they had been in the house for a month i moved them outside 3 days ago into some of my breeder pens. Well the weather turned bad when i was gone and it poured rain they have a roof but the door is made of hardware cloth to allow air in I guess they got chilled and one died and a few others sound like they have fluid in there chest i was only gone like 4 hrs. I have never had this happened i dont know what to do with them there is like 25 that have been living together for a month i pulled out the ones that sounded sick and put them in the house. Is this from the cold weather and rain or do i need to worry about something more severe? PLEASE any help would be great like what do i do to help them?

I think the first thing would to be sure they are all warm and dry.

I'm sure someone else on here will have better advise as to the why ....

Good Luck !
