I've hatched 10 pheasant chicks most of which are fine, four have had splayed or spladdle leg. one of them is recovring nicely and running around with his plaster/ bandaid (I think americans call them?) on. Two have only got them on today where as the fourth has had it on a few days. The fourth chick isn't doing very well at all. He lays all day stretched right out as if dead. I have taken his plaster off but it doesn't make any difference (see photos) I wondered if the others have squashed him? although my brooder can hold up to 20 chicks. Or did I take him out of the incubator too early? I have placed him back in the incubator (intensive care) I don't think he has eaten or drank yet tho

will he be okay? is there anything else I can do for him? if not what did I do wrong? why did this happen? finally one of the chicks I applied a plaster too today for splayed legs has done the same! as soon as I put the plaster on him! so I have taken it off and hes sat upright however one leg is sticking right out now. What should I do with him? Please help if you can! it would be much appreciated
