Help!!! Sick duck can't walk!

After an exam and x-ray, the vet determined that he had some intestinal inflammation. He could’ve had a possible infection but it wasn’t clear in the exam. He is on several medications and has to rest for two weeks.

Update: He’s back to walking and standing. I’m still letting him rest for another few days. He’s eating and drinking just fine and is taking all his meds.

I just found this post and my Musocvy duck (8 months old) had the same issue a few days ago. We suspected botulism however, and let her rest. Its been over the 48 hours that are the standard wait though, and she has highs and lows. I am thinking maybe she has what your duck had? Sadly we waited too long and she can't eat anymore unless she is assisted.
