Can i breed jumbo quail from standards?

Hi everyone I have thought about trying to breed JUMBO quail but I'm in NZ and there is " no true jumbo lines " so I'm curious is it possible over generations to breed JUMBOS .

I see in this thread that "Jumbo" just relates to size:

In that case, you certainly should be able to breed larger quail than what you are starting with, and in time you might be able to get some actually big enough to be considered Jumbo. Just keep breeding the largest quail available, and then the biggest of their offspring, and you should be able to make progress.

It will probably be a long project, taking many years, but I think is probably possible.
 
Of course! That's where the other jumbo lines started. Good luck, and may the genetic lottery be most favorable for you
