Help! Sick peahen!

My peahen has had a horrible infectionfor the past week. Her cheeks are so swollen with pus its closed her eyes and there is muscus coming from her nose. Im worried my peacock might get sick too. Idk what to do!!! I dont want to loose them. I read you should give them a feww cc of tylan 200, but so far no luck with that.

Sounds like a sinus infection that you'll need to do surgery on. You should start another thread in the peafowl section since this seems to be common in peafowl.

You could try a different antibiotic. Like Penicillin injectable. I'm not too good with respiratory symptoms, I'm sure someone will come along and know more. Meds also Amoxicillin, Bactrim, Sulmet, and sulfadimthoxine. As per med sheet from Twin Cities Poultry Supply.
