I have a little white pullet that has started to go downhill. She was upbeat and active. Now she is mopey and can't sit up well. A few days ago, I noticed her acting funny. I went and inspected her right away. I noticed mites on her. I treated her for mites, but she still was pretty bad. I think was told that she probably had coccidious. So I've been treating the flock the coccid med in their water. She got a little better and was able to walk around a bit, but since has gone down hill again.

She doesn't have mites anymore. (And no mites on the rest of the flock either!)
I've given her a B12 shot a couple of days ago and I've been feeding her electrolyte water in a syringe.... but at this point, I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any suggestions?

I need some help.

Don't forget to retreat for the mites every week until bugs are dead. Throw out all bedding and spray coop also each time.

How is your little silkie doing now?

Don't give vitamins at the same time you give Corid if that is the cocci med you are using.

So sorry for your loss my roo Toby just died this morn 1:07am in my arms. He had just gotten over a bacterial infection and the vet put him back on it again. He himself was just under 4 months of age.
