Help! Silkie feet not working right. [Graphics.]

I don't know if marek's is common in my area or not, but I still had my chick's vaccinated at the hatchery. If I were you, I wouldn't give up on chicken's all together, maybe try having the next batch vaccinated and see if you are more successful in the future. They have to be vaccinated newly hatched. But since there is no cure, I thought I better not take a chance.

Good luck, I'm very sorry for you losses.

i dont know if its common in my area either. i emailed the woman who gave them to me, and i am waiting to hear back if she had them inoculated. if i wind up having to replace them i would definatly ave them vaccinated.
my chick seemed to be better this afternoon. she ate boiled eggs and drank water, so i am hopeful.... keeping my fingers crossed.

well sun nite at 11, and syphie is still with us

she is sleeping ackwardly in her towel ring, she has eated boiled eggs and drank water on her own... so my fingers are still crossed and we will see what the AM (6 am-yuck) gotta go to bed...

any one have experience of them living after having this awful disease hit them this bad?

well the littlest silkie is now dead. i feed her and gave her water by hand. i tried every thing, and just when i thought she might make it she died.
