Help silkie gender

Hi I’m new here I have some silkies, but as yall know it’s pretty tricky knowing the gender of them I have one that’s 5-6 months old can yall help me please see if it’s a girl or boy i hasn’t crow yet but has spurs growing on it legs so idk im confused

Are you sure it's that old though? I'd guess closer to 3-4 months, but maybe it is that old.

I don't know for sure here. They do say some girls can get nubs for spurs, and by nub that I've seen, just a bump if that.

The way the poof head isn't making a ball, and sort of blending more with the hackles on the neck, leans cockerel too.

It's comb sure looks like a girls though, but I had one, a chocolate, that didn't get a walnut comb for 8 months.

The tail might be a good sign too as it looks like it's getting some regular feathers in there. A cockerel's tail is "messy" whereas a pullets tail is more of neat ball.

I still wouldn't definitely say one way or the other though. Silkies can fool us and they have me!
