Help....slipped tendon

Quote:
It wasn't a goose, but I had it happen in a Pea chick.

I was afraid I'd have to put it down, and instead I broke the tips off of a Q-tip, and carefully used medical tape to place them on either side of the hock to hold the tendon in place. It's hard to get it tense enough to hold the tendon and yet not so tight as to cut off circulation, but it can work. I left it on for 4 days and it was perfect after that- I was shocked! This poor baby kept getting its leg stuck in its wing...it was horrible.

Best of luck!
