Help! Something is wrong with my humidity!

My ducks all have piped and I can't make my humidity higher! When I add water it won't go up. Helppp!

At the moment it's a 60. Isn't that low? I've added water and it's gone up 6%

Don’t stress… some incubators don’t always go up and show the correct humidity… do you have condensation building on the lid of the incubator on the inside?

Hi, 60% should be fine for lockdown. Also when they hatch, the moisture from the eggs will give the humidity a boost.

Yes a bit

It’s fine… just sit back and relax ducklings will hatch… you can try and place a very wet tea towel or hand towel in the actual incubator this will help a little bit but you won’t be able to get the humidity up much more… just how your incubator is…

Just keep an eye on the ducklings and listen for any distressing peeping….

Just remember ducklings can take 48hrs from pip to zip..

Indeed we do… tho I tend to like it more when others are hatching and not me… a lot less stressful from my side lol
