I posted earlier about a 10 week old Pullets that's never had a problem and all the sudden this am, she was shaking badly and is SPRATTLE-legged? Never had a problem with her before. What can cause this, and how do I fix it?

Help?

Thank you!

I don't have much experience with this, but I have heard that this is caused from dehydration or not eating which causes them to become weak. I would try using a syringe and giving some sugar water. Just keep a close eye on her.

Well, I will definitely try that. She sure has a lot of energy though and always has food but you never know. Didn't know that not getting enough to eat could do that. Thanks.

UPDATE: Spoke with someone in the area who has been raising chickens for over 30years, VERY knowledgeable. Apparently, it was what I feared...it was almost certainly Marek's. I had to cull, but it was best for her and the rest of my flock.

Was just fixing to ask you which direction her legs were because sounded like Mareks to me as soon as I read the symptoms. Sorry to hear that, but you did the right thing.
