Help STAT

what sucks is at this very moment there is another egg sitting on my desk waiting for my neice to come and collect. I tried to put her back in coop today and nesting boxes and she just freaked out again and making so much noise im scared neighbor may call aniaml controll on me for chicken abuse i let her out and she went right to desk and this time 15 min we had an egg. then I cough my Pheonix up there trying to lay but I threw her feathery butt in coop and she laid out there I dont want my other girls to pick up habbit of laying in my room cuz CHICKENS ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE INDOORS LET ALONE LAY THERE EGGS INDOORS.

Oh Gosh. I'm sorry but this is really making me laugh! Sunny laid her first egg right after the kids got home and we got her in the nesting box, in the coop. We watched in awe. I didn't think we'd get to see the first one, so we're feeling pretty privileged right now. Funny how yours want to be inside. I'm going to post the pictures on my thread now if you want to check out our operation or adventure today. We're just giddy...

The simplest solution is to keep her out of the house and lock her in the coop for several days until she figures out that that's where she's supposed to lay. How are they getting in the house in the first place?

I had one that started laying eggs behind the dryer in the garage. I caught her going back there to lay, one day, and locked her in the coop. She had laid in the nesting boxes ever since. She was a little stressed at first, but now it's no big deal, and she showed my other one where to lay as well, so everyone is happy.

you can go to a fabric shop and buy a 1/2 a yard of satin material for cheap and try that

she freaks out being locked in the chicken run and or coop makes massive noise to point im affared some one will call animal controll on me for abuse. if you think the egg laying song in loud compared to her freak out its a gential purr. She knows how to use my doggy door and I cant lock the dog door I have a 14 year old lab with kidney issues I cant lock my dog out or in. I did make it heavyer thinking that would keep the chickens out but they learned to wait for one of the dogs to go in and they sneek in between there legs I was worried the chcicks would get hurt so I took the board I used to weight it down off again. I am just adjusting to the chickens for the most part my rug is already ruined becasue my dogs issues i just keep it clean and so far they have not really poo to much and they dont get any of the snacks that make them runny now its cooling off all but Cherrios is hanging out side more then ever but starting to think my Cherrios thinks she is a dog as that is who she prefures to hang out with now. I dont know what happend to her in the run/coop but she wants nothing to do with both last night she refused to go in way past 8:30pm it was dark our and she was hanging out under my porch light and then this am 5:30 having a fit till i let her out of the run and once she is out she is a normal happy chicken all this started the day she layed her first egg.
