New chicken Mama and first time post so please help. I was given 5 babies that were born on Easter, so about 7 weeks old.
(not sure what we have) the one i think is an Easter Egger and the Leg horn went CRAZY yesterday. Feathers flying, jumping, biting and I stopped it before the blood started. I put one in a dog crate for the night and let them reunite this morning. They didn't miss a beat went back to fighting just like night before.Once leg horn is out of the coop the other four are just happy chickens.
?? Do i let them finish the fight or get rid of one??

Were they housed together where ever you got them from?

Ditto..... need answers to previous posters questions.

Bet you've got 2 cockerels.

Can you give one back?

We just bought this house that already had a chicken "palace" has 35 nesting boxes on the inside with four door to retrieve eggs. the covered enclosed fenced area has two sections: one is 6'x 8' and the other is 15' x 10". And also has another room for new babies with 4 free standing coops. And has a fenced in open area with another section to raise ducks. So, I had to become a chicken mama with such an amazing coop.
Feeding them Dumor starter/grower
I'm afraid if I put them back together one will end up dead
And yes they have always been together. Out of the five these two will let me hold them and will eat out of my hand. Wish I hadn't named them. One will have to go.
