Howdy all, I just recently went and got three new chickens to add to my coop 2 silkies and 1 polish hens under a year old. The polish since we let her put with the big chickens has been scared to death always running up and down the coop and won’t go new anyone, if something touches her she flips out. The other day I noticed her wings and butt had some feathers that just looked like sticks. I caught her and she has very little butt feathers and her wing feathers look like the colorful part has been stripped off like you could do to kale.

i then caught her a couple days later and her eye sinus is super puffy. Another chciken of mine had just got over this and a very gave us antibiotics for there water. I also have a antibiotic oietment I put on their eye to help. I added it to the polish’s water but now she’s scratching her eye and making it bleed. When she started doing this we even noticed a couple of her toes are infected and look cut off. We isolated her in another coop.

What should I do. I think the new ones brought in this illness. She’s so scared of me I hate having to keep catching her to put meds on her eye and butt. She is finally getting to eat and drink because she’s away from the other chickens. Any time I walk into the run and she sees me she started to pace and run around her coop. I also don’t want to keep her penned up to long because she will be picked on even more when we release her. What should I do for her butt feathers, should I cut the stubs off so new growth can happen or just keep spraying the stuff I got at tractor supply.
