Hi there,
Our first hatch went perfectly a few weeks ago and then we switched incubators and put the remaining khaki/runner and pekin/swedish eggs in a different incubator (with no fan). Day 28 came and went and then finally on Day 33 they hatched but with difficulty, some deformed feet (which seems to be righting itself now, 3 days later..), wobbly heads, inability to flip when they fall onto their backs, some "stuff" still attached to bellies. etc. One hatched from the wrong, non air sac end. What's the deal?
Thanks for all!!!

these are things that can happen with hatched for no reason.
its not because you switched incubators
sometimes these things just happen

Yep these things can go wrong in any style bator for any reason.

Still air incubators require higher temps than those with fans for incubation.

We use still air hatchers for lock down all of the time with no issues. All incubation is done in a cabinet bator with fans.

It could be genetic, or a number of other factors for the problems.
