HELP... Temperature become too hot as humidity increases..

I have no idea why putting a wet towel in there would increase the temperature like that unless it somehow interferes with the thermostat. What make and model is your incubator or is it homemade? How is that wet towel arranged? How hot was the water you used to wet the towel? That sounds like the core of your problem, whatever you did with that towel. Hopefully the temperature has stabilized and gone back down.

You got a whole degree C jump when you put the towel in there. If your thermometers were accurate that should not cause big problems with the hatch. The chicks should be able to handle that as long as your thermometers are accurate. If it were earlier in incubation I'd expect the chicks to hatch pretty early, maybe as much as two full days. This late it should not matter. If the temps went up 2 full degrees C I'd be worried.

If I had to choose between raising the humidity and raising the temp 1 degree C I'd raise the humidity. But 1 degree C would be my limit. You are not in a great place, I'd really like to know why the towel is raising the temperature, that just doesn't sound right. But you are balancing which is the lesser evil.

Good luck!
Yes. Temperature was dropped to normal as you said.. anyway this is 19th day and 2 new members arrived already.. that is a wonderful feeling.... wow.. thanks.. waiting for other 9 chicks.. and a turkey..
