HELP!!! There is an orange ball thingy on my new ducky's tummy!!

We are hatching some duck eggs My kids got a little anxious helping one and now it is out of it shell. It looks like it wasn't fully developed but after about an hour the little orange sac is shrinking and it is still alive. Is that the yolk sack and is that normal? Please send me some answers I am very worried!

sounds like you got it. I think I have read something about warm damp paper towel to help the yolk stay moist or something like that. Good luck!

Well the little duckling is still doing ok and getting stronger! I think he is going to be ok, hopefully. one down and 7 to go. I hope they all make it.
