The leaves are clearly shaped differently so i am thinking they are not the same class of flower back to proper upkeep for this kind of flower pictured here again:!

Sorry I spelled it wrong. Impatiens usually does best in shade, but there is a variety called New Guinea Impatiens which prefers full sun or part-shade. As you have noticed, the leaves are different. These are annuals by the way.

Ok. Thanks for responding: ) i am desperate to keep some alive after a pocket gopher gobbled down most of my collection lol

Definitely not petunias, the second one is Impatiens and is an annual unless you have a greenhouse to keep it in. The first is interesting and is also, I think, an Impatiens but I am not 100% certain with that lovely leaf structure.

Hi chickenreyna!
You definitely have a impatient. More shade the better like everyone says.
The other is a vinca. Not impressed with this little plant unless it's in Mass plantings. Slow grower, full to part sun.
Hope your gopher let them alone for you! :frow this post is probably to litto little to late I realized just now.:gig
