Granny's gone and done it again

Later, Chick! Melissa's been wanting to make a Shepherd Pie all week, too, using ground turkey for the meat. Hopefully she can soon, but we have a fridge full of leftovers to eat up first!

Can never figure why the little I do wipes me out so bad. But I realized I do wheel myself a lot even though DH does push me mostly. So my arms and shoulders get fatigued and i am wiped out.

Tell him! He might actually like to know that you don't just rely on his help, but that his actual presence is comforting!
This is the sort of thing it took me FOREVER to learn, and really improved our relationship when I did. I was raised to think of it as "needy" or "clingy" so I always resisted. Hubby finally told me that he felt like he didnt mean much to me since I never did those things. Was a complete jaw drop moment!

I did, today, on our way to the clinic. I told him how comfortable and at peace I feel when he is sitting beside me. Content, I said. Then I explained the anxiety I feel when he gets up and walks away without saying anything. At 70 I'm sure it will be a hard habit for him to break, but at least now he knows how I feel. 😊

Who here is an experienced hatcher? Granny, I know you have. Tell me if I am doing this right!

So my friend wants two dozen hatching eggs. I've got a dozen brown and a dozen blue set aside already. They are each in cartons on my coffee table in the living room. It's usually about 69° to 72°F in here, varying from night to day. Humidity varies from 28% (now) to 44% (yesterday). I have the cartons setting with one end, marked with an X, on a nice fat book (Reader's Digest Condensed Book), about 2" thick. Two or three times a day I have been elevating the opposite end. Is that enough "turning" for the eggs until I deliver them to the lady? Should I do this for one week, ten days, or two weeks before giving them to her? Should I be "turning" them some different way?

At the moment I am fertility testing 4 eggs in the incubator before I give her these two dozen. I want to be fairly sure the cockerels, or at least Shadow, is performing as expected. I should have an answer (veins) by Wednesday, I believe.

I am glad I am going to the doctor Thursday (yes I checked with them and yes they still want me to come) because my knee was really acting up tonight. 😭💔🙄

The appointment is about something completely different but I figure I could still ask about that at least. And all the other joints like Blue mentioned asking about before.
