Granny's gone and done it again

Thanks, I already take iron every day. Wonder where my blood goes? Its been this way for years. The Mon. aid was a no show. My Nancy should be here tomorrow.
Some people, especially women, and elderly, don't actually absorb the iron in those pills very well ( i think its like 20% of the total population) . You may try finding a non-heme (plant based) iron pill, or simply eating more maltomeal and cocoa powder. 😋
I was severely anemic for years until I found and tried this. Worked like a charm.

I was told after stomach surgery I couldn't absorb iron or B12 anymore and that's why I get the shots. My Dr. put me on the iron pills because I was consistently low. I guess she doesn't know about the surgery factor.

Mid forenoon snack.

Oh dear! Stomach surgery is hard. You might try the maltomeal with cocoa powder (and honey and butter for me) and a cup of orange juice orange for breakfast then. Vit c helps absorb iron. Anemia feels fine, until its gone and you realize how exhausting it was.
