Guys. Just found out tonight that our Elijah has committed to go to Peru to conduct an evangelistic series. He'll have a team, but he'll be doing all the preaching on his own. He didn't tell us. DH found out at board meeting, bc the church had to vote to help sponsor him. I am... and also, of course. and

Is that easy to make? Can you use instant potatoes? Wonder if I could figure one out-the veggies.

Granny, when I make Shepherds Pie I put a layer of hamburger cooked with onion and garlic in the bottom of the casserole pan then put a layer of cooked carrots, peas and corn. I top that with mashed potatoes either fresh or instant sprinkle with shredded cheese and cook in the oven until it's hot and the cheese is melted. You can put whatever vegetables in it that Robert will eat.

Granny, careful with taxes! I had a rude awakening. I paid my 2025 property taxes in Feb and school taxes in July.i thought I got it all, then this spring I got a late tax fee of $600.
Last year when I thought I paid the school taxes, I had gone on an installment plan and they said I missed 2 installments (also paid 2 installments). Grrrrrr....I always write my plans in my book, I don't know how I did that. My thoughts ....I sure hope the kids are learning allot if the school taxes are that high

We don’t have an option to pay them separately here in California. Is your house paid off? If your house isn’t paid off they add it to your mortgage payment.

I did, today, on our way to the clinic. I told him how comfortable and at peace I feel when he is sitting beside me. Content, I said. Then I explained the anxiety I feel when he gets up and walks away without saying anything. At 70 I'm sure it will be a hard habit for him to break, but at least now he knows how I feel.

We use our phone a lot. He will be out back working and I don’t know where he is. I will call him or text him geez he could drop dead out there and I would never know.

Who here is an experienced hatcher? Granny, I know you have. Tell me if I am doing this right!

So my friend wants two dozen hatching eggs. I've got a dozen brown and a dozen blue set aside already. They are each in cartons on my coffee table in the living room. It's usually about 69° to 72°F in here, varying from night to day. Humidity varies from 28% (now) to 44% (yesterday). I have the cartons setting with one end, marked with an X, on a nice fat book (Reader's Digest Condensed Book), about 2" thick. Two or three times a day I have been elevating the opposite end. Is that enough "turning" for the eggs until I deliver them to the lady? Should I do this for one week, ten days, or two weeks before giving them to her? Should I be "turning" them some different way?

At the moment I am fertility testing 4 eggs in the incubator before I give her these two dozen. I want to be fairly sure the cockerels, or at least Shadow, is performing as expected. I should have an answer (veins) by Wednesday, I believe.

Your turning is fine. Are you delivering local? The room you have them in is a little warm though.
