Saturday evening I noticed a star like crack in an egg and at that point would have been day 26. I took it out to further observe and I heard it pecking, saw it moving and the bill, and seemed ok. Last night it made more cracks and I checked again. Ok....Today I chipped pieces of the egg and found that it isnt through the membrane but it appears to be eating under the membrane because I can plainly see through those spots and see the baby. It has been in the same position or spot for 1 day and 1/2 and I am worried it cant break through so do I try and assist? I dont want it to die and I am not sure of what to do. Can anyone help please ?
