Thought She was a Leghorn until her egg came out pink/beige, with kinda tiny white speckles. The man we bought her from told me she was a Legorn but not to sure anymore.... She is about 21 weeks now and just started laying... We have got 2 eggs from her... She has not laid every day.... Her legs are yellow and have little knub like spurs. For awhile there, I thought She was a He until she jumped in the bucket and laid an egg..... LOL... We also noticed th otherday that her pure white feathers now have a yellow tint around the edges... It is not dirt or stained, she is actually beautiful when the sun its her feathers.... Anyways anybody know if Leghorns can lay a different color egg... Or what breed she might actually be?

White Rock :)

Oftem mistaken with a White Leghorn. White Rocks have red earlobes, live yours.

WL would have a ginormous comb, too.

I have to agree, White Rock! It's been some years since I raised chickens, until I recently 'adopted' an injured Bantam hen, but did for many years and White Rocks were my most favored breed! They are a wonderful dual purpose breed, and hens usually had a decent temperament.
Jenell.
