Help! Tom and a chicken...

My papa wants to give me his Tom turkey, who is super sweet, social and adorable. However, I have a flock of Brahma hens. Will he try breeding them and/or hurt them? If I don’t take him he’s going to kill him. What do I do?

If you have a lone tom with no other turkey hens. The odds are very likely he will try and breed your chicken hens.

That usually means a flat dead hen.

If you take him find him some turkey hens.
