Help.. too many mosquitoes!

I would think they would eat the mosquitos????
I didn't think sprays were effective on flying mosquitos ...you have to get them in their breeding ground or eliminate their breeding ground.
They do not eat them.. I wish! Unfortunately everywhere here is pretty much a breeding ground... I am in Louisiana... very wet!! When it rains a lot.. which is most of the time.. there are millions of the buggers!! And they are especially bad right now!
Thank you for your reply...

Does anyone have any tips on how to rid your coop of mosquitoes..? My coop is infested.. poor gals! I sprayed it with all natural mosquito repellent but that seems to help only a little...
When I built my coop, I put window screen over all the hardware cloth, even
on the run. I didn’t want my girls to be bothered by the mosquitoes when they sleep or by the flies in the summer.

That’s a great idea.. 12x24 would be a lot to screen.. on top of all that hardware cloth.. which is over every inch.. and coop is open to run..
They were very bad agin this morning :barnie .... I’m gonna check into the Adams and see if that’ll help.. it usually kills everything for a good while.. they are also awful around my budgie cage
Thanks for your reply!

Yes, that is a lot to screen but you only have to do it once and it lasts for years. My enclosed run is only half that size and my coop is only 4’ x 8’. It does keep everything out though. In my area there have been dead birds found with West Nile virus and there is a lake 1 block from my house where the dead birds were found. My girls are outside during the day in an unenclosed area, so I’m mainly worried about them when it starts to get dark.
