Help....Trying to save her..... not sure I can

Came home for lunch on Monday and found one of my 14 week old pullets with a head injury in the run. I'm not sure what did it?? Anyways I thought she was dead and I went to pick her up to bury her and she moved!! So I put her in a cat carrier and brought her in the house. I had to go back to work and I really thought she would be gone by the time I got home. Well she wasn't so I cleaned her up the best I could and put neosporin on her head. I did get her to take some water out of a syringe. Again I didn't think she would make it through the night but I put her in a bigger dog crate. Well yesterday morning she was still with us. Again I applied neosporin to her head. I got her to take more water I also added nutra drench and got her to eat some scrambled eggs. She was sitting up and I was really hopeful that she was going to be fine. But now she is unable to sit on her legs, can't stand at all and really just seems to flop around. I think she may have some brain damage or something? I don't have the heart to cull her. I have never done that before. I've only had chickens for 1 year. Any advise???? She will eat and drink with assistance.

Keep her hydrated and see if you can find blood stop for her head

She doesn't appear to be bleeding anymore, it is turning a white color. I try to make her drink when I am home. I work so it is hard. I do have water in the cage for her and she does scoot herself close to it so I think she is might be getting some.

In the meantime, it sounds like you are doing everything right. The only other thing I would offer her is a source of warmth such as a heating pad that she can go on if she wants. Make sure she stays hydrated and keep her wounds clean. Also check her over for any other wounds.

Hawks tend to attack the head, IME, and they also dig into the back with the claws so if it was a hawk she may have other puncture wounds that need a bit of care. That is why I asked if the pen is covered.

Oh ya l forgot if you want a natural cleaner use lavender oil on her wounds

Their pin is not not covered completely. I have been battling with hawks and I really think that's what got her. That is going to be a priority when the weather gets better! I haven't seen any other wounds. I going to keep trying my hardest to save her. She seems like she is trying for now anyways.

I know with owls, when they are gripping down on the prey, they do a lot of damage internally. Hopefully something similar has not happened. Please keep us posted. At this point I think it is about keeping her comfortable and helping her pull through. Some of it is likely shock, too.

Update. She is still very weak and unable to stand or walk. She will eat when I hold her or put the food really close to her. I mixed some crumbles with water and she really ate a lot. I also added a heating pad for her. I hope she pulls through.
