SO my turkey hens were laying eggs in one nest, ended up with 38 eggs, I did not know there were that many. Three babies died from getting crushed and started to rot. A few eggs were also rotten and cracked. Two babies are alive well and healthy. I took the remaining eggs and candeled them, only 5 seemed viable and not clear/rotten.

I took those 5 eggs and put them in my incubator 4 days ago. I water bathed them today and 4/5 are moving and well. Here is the deal, I took out #5 and tossed it. But the awful smell that got on the eggs when they were in the nest is getting worse.

What should I do with stinking yet alive and viable eggs? I also have no idea when their hatch date is so I stillhave them on the turner.

Should I try to wash the eggs?
