This is my first time raising turkeys and I cannot figure out what container to put their feed in when they are eating.

I have put it in a small storage bin(they knock it over), A heavy ceramic container(they poop in it), and a hanging feed thing(it’s scattered everywhere).

I honestly wouldn’t mind if the feed wasn’t so darn expensive!!
They are two months old. Any feedback or comments would greatly be appreciated.

Try put your hanging feeder in a corner or up against a wall as that swings how you have it so they may be unintentionally making a mess just trying to get food. Either that, or put it on a brick or two. If the height of it is too low, they can make more of a mess, so try put it a little higher and see if they're eating out of it okay.

My neighbor raises them and she just uses a heavy metal tray. She dumps it every other day or so and her ducks, chickens, and/or geese clean it up.

You are going to be sorry that you are feeding them there once they are adults. You will not be able to keep the adults off of there and the mess they leave behind will be much worse.

Once they are old enough, switch them to pelleted feed for less waste.

Sorry for laughing but we just started raising turkeys over the summer and this is soooooooo accurate! Hanging things are swings, whether the feeder or water! They are wild! We ended up mounting gate feeders to a 2x4 at just the right height for them to be able to reach the food in the bottom. this is working well.
