HELP turkey might have blackhead or heat stroke

yesturday i went outside and one of my favorite turkey was dead and then today i went out there and another turkey was being very slow and was not hanging out with the other turkeys and he was off balance and i went in there to help him and give him water and i was standing there and he flipped on his back and started flapping his wings and so i flipped him back over and he was barley breathing and then he stoped breathing and he was dead.they are around 10 weeks old an have been outside for 2 weeks now.it has been 90-100 all week.

Sounds like heat stroke to me. I had the same thing happen to one of mine in April when it suddenly got very hot and I hadn't yet removed the winterization on the run. Fortunately, I was right there and had a garden hose turned on, so was able to save him by spraying him off with cold water for about 5-10 minutes. He was really weak for a couple of days but recovered.

Blackhead will show other symptoms ahead of time, such as foamy yellow diarrhea and discolored, darkened head and neck.

Do the best you can to keep them cool. A kiddie pool of water helps. Shade helps. Misting them helps. If nothing else, turn a sprinkler on them during the worst part of the day.

I know its really rough out there -- I saw on the morning news program that a town in Kentucky had a heat index of 123 yesterday.
