My neighbor called me this morning, something killed her hen thru the night. The hen was setting on 14 eggs and had been for about three weeks. I went and got the eggs and out them on my incubator, but they were very cold, it was about 42 degrees here last night. It's taking a while for my bator to heat up. Is there a chance these eggs will make it or should I just give up. Please help.

I would say it doesn't hurt to try! Good luck!

From what I have read here on BYC, chicks start producing their own heat so maybe they will be alright. THey are so close to hatching, give it a go!

Thanks, I'm going to see what happens.
