HELP! Two of my ducklings are sick!

They are very lethargic, won't eat or drink this morning and just want to lay there! What can I do?

They are Muscovy ducklings. I've been feeding them chick starter since day one. Last night they stayed outside for the first time. There are 13 of them. All others are doing fine, running around like crazy, eating and drinking. Please somebody, do you know what could be wrong? I don't want to lose them.

One of them just died.

I'm sorry about your duckling, but I know very little about duck illnesses.

The other one died today as well.

from what i hear they should not be eating med chick starter...its not medicated right? Any chance they could have gotten into something that could posion them?

It was not medicated. The only medicated feed i have on hand is game feed for my turkeys. And that's only because I don't want them to get Blackhead Disease. As for getting into something, I suppose it is possible they got hold of a weed that didn't agree with them. The others are all fine though.

Well, I just had five ducklings die from avian botulism. There are three adults limping around now also.
