I have two young roosters with brown/gray scabs covering their combs, wattles, and faces. One is worse than the other, and one of his eyes is scabbed over. They appear otherwise healthy, eating, crowing, parading about as usual. This caused me to ignore what started out as tiny splotches on their face. I just discovered the one's poor eye this morning, and I'm feeling the worst chicken parent ever. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Any help would be apreciated. I also have 20 chickens living across the yard, but they are all fine.

Thank you so much! This is definitely it. It's a relief to know what i'm up against, even if there isn't a whole lot I can do about it.

Dry poxs are relativley harmless, they can be annoying but from what I heard their easy treated. Wet pox on the other hand are vary serious and are not easly treated. It sounds like your roos have the "Chicken Pox"
