HELP!! Tylan 50 Dosage

Hello, I have a peacock that is having some respiratory issues. TSC near me only had the Tylan 50. What is the proper dosage? He's already been through a cycle of dewormer (Safeguard) and Corid drenches for safety precautions. I keep reading mixed things on tylan 50 so just wanted to see what worked for others. He's almost a year old.

I can Inject but would prefer to give orally if possible.

You have to use four times as much of the 50 as you would the 200. When injecting a mature bird you would use about 1.0 to 1.5 ml just under the skin. Four times that much is way too much fluid to inject into a bird. IF I was going to give the Tylan 50 orally I would mix at least 4.0 ml in some water and tube feed it for at least three to five days.

How many times a day can you give it? Tylan works if you give it 3-4 times a day.
If you can give it 4 times a day, the oral dose is 0.25 ml per pound 4 times a day.
