Help-Tylan 50? How to use injectable?

i have 3 hens sneezing. got some tylan 50 and according to threads i have read i guess it is okay to use. not sure if there is any wheezing. will listen tonight- we have had a very wet summer- birds on some bluegrass hay - i haven't wormed them yet and was going to do that- chicken farmer said to inject 1cc in breast near breast bone. he said i could treat with wazine too and it would not hurt them - i wasn't sure if i needed to wait.

if i inject do i need to aspirate or just inject

Aspirate? Is there another meaning? It is generally used to mean getting water into the lungs--a fatal event for a chicken.

I am a terrible speller- I was going for pulling back on the needle to see if there is blood.

I don't know what that is called, but yes, you're supposed to do that.

The injections went smoothly-i used to work at an equine vet and gave lots of injections- I guess I haven't lost my touch. The 3 hens were well behaved. I will keep a close eye on them and continue the shots for 3 days. at least that is my understanding of what I should do. We did not treat everyone just the ones with symptoms. Hope that nips it.
