Help understanding a pattern?! (Done)

I guess I should have used exact measurements to share with the above pattern. It is pretty easy to draw up one's self!

So 6" on the fold line, 2" at the bottom, 5" straight from point to point on top curve, 2 1/2" on left hand curve, and 4 1/4 to curve back to the bottom line.

I hope that helps anyone who wants to make this.

Ok... I made some patchwork/quilted fabric just to make a apple out of. It took me 2 hours!!!

This is as far as I've gotten and I am too tired to move on...so until tomorrow, good night!

Ok, here's my final quilty apple, I am very proud of this one!

I added a button to the bottom pucker. I also switched out the leaf on this one for a ribbon. I may go back and add the leaf too. Haven't decided. I really think I may just keep this one, matches my daughter's room.

Oh girl!! It's a super fast way to make quilt blocks. You cut your fabric into strips, say 3"x 45". Then you sew the strips together, for example if you were going to make a 9 patch.. Pink strip, white strip, pink strip long sides together. You also make a white pink white. Then you take your rotary cutter and cut 3" strips off the long sewn pieces. Ugh.. let me find a link that explains it better....
