Thanks everyone for the help but I regret to inform you the duck is pronounced dead, when I went to check on him today I found there was a hole in his house and he was nowhere to be seen and since there are coyotes and dogs around my house and searching my backyard finding nothing. I pronounce him as dead. Someone also said they heard sounds in the backyard and that was most likely him being taken away.I agree, vet would be best... at the least see if you can get a fecal float done, take some of his stool in to a willing vet or send in to a lab(ask casportpony about that, if needed)...
The bill and not eating concerns me, as you said it wasn't caused by the dog... he might have injured it earlier, or it could be something else causing the deterioration... bacteria, protozoa, or virus...
Definitely talk with casportpony about tubing, she is the best for that!
