HELP urgent egg that is making noise!

How cold is it?

You can put it in your bra.
34.8 degrees on the surface. it has stopped peeping though -not sure if resting or not made it. Just reading thehuge article on assisted hatching :confused:Human babies are so much easier to deliver!
I’ve had Broodies knock out eggs that had healthy chicks, after hatching most.
That gives me some hope.

I hope my roughish handling earlier won't have hurt it :hit:hit:hit

This is going to sound ridiculous but I think the oven is your best bet! Put it on the lowest temperature possible, use a thermometer to get the oven around 37-38 but keep a strong eye on it that the oven doesn't over heat.
I've used all kinds of things, even hatched chicks in an electric frying pan once! You just need something that will generate a little heat

I think if you make a tiny safety hole in the airsac end of the egg that will be important so the chick doesn't run out of oxygen. The chick should be able to hatch itself from that

38 feels so not warm - is that what you'd set an incubator at? Shall I add a cup of boiling water to help the humidity?
