I have 4 baby guineas from our guineas that we took from the mother the night before a terrible storm. She had them out in the forest. We are feeding them bugs, worms, mealworms and superworms.
They don't recognize their feed as food. The crumbles that we have in there for them they wont eat. How do I get them to recognize this as food. I know how with a chick, but the guineas wont eat it. I am bothered that I am running out of bugs.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I did. I even tried to stick their beak in them like I do new chicks. they got the water part.

Try sprinkling the crumbles in front of them on a paper towel, letting them seem the crumbles drop and scatter. Also try tapping at the food to bring their attention to it. They should get it eventually. I recently took 9 keets from a Hen last week, it took them a day or 2 to actually figure out that was all the food they were going to get, but now they've adjusted and are doing fine on it.
