Help! Vet is out of ideas...

I will and see if that helps too, i’m starting to think it’s smarter to just grow and mix my own feed at this point. had issues with 3 separate companies and their feeds for different animals this year already… always thought agrimaster might not be the best of the best but was at least good enough…
I"ve had trouble getting feed consistently even though there are 4 feed stores withing 10 miles of me. They are always out and I can't maintain a stable supply. I gave up on the locals and have started ordering feed from Chewy, which sounds silly but actually works very well. FWIW>

Has the vet tested for bird flu? Although I wouldn’t recommend actually doing that because if they test positive the chances some authority will show up a euthanize your whole flock are high…it sounds like it could be that. If it is I would personally let them ride it out because the survivors should have some resistance.
As I read this, it occurred to me that the timing of the sickness does indeed seem to point towards bird flu.

easy to buy a few bottles of water and see if that makes a difference. Also can change feed to one made by a different manufacturer. Make one change at a time. If you make a bunch of changes all at once you won't know what the culprit is. Might also change your bedding.
Have you tried organic apple cider vinegar in their water?

2 c Oregano flakes, 1c Sea Salt, 1 c red pepper flakes, 4 c sunflowers. Recipe for keeping bird flu away. Daughter former vet tech, ranch sits in, farmer gave her recipe. Worked for Quite a few, including few bunches I've had over the last 4-6y? THOUGHT I've seen it On BYC but my memory ....

Is this added to what quantity of feed? Or how is it administered?

Not sure if this is what's happening but it sounds exactly like what some of my chicks experienced. It turns out they weren't kept warm enough before I got them and were having kidney failure😢.
That's awful! so sorry to hear that. I ended up opening the mini window in my basement and the chicks improved drastically. Not 100% sure it was the radon for sure (we're at a 14) but I've put a monitor in there for it and they're doing great now.

The chicks haven't been outside to really be exposed to anything so unless the feed itself was contaminated I don't think that's what it is.

Also going off the suggestion of radon poisoning since my brooder is in my basement, I opened the window and the chicks drastically improved over the last week or so.

We mix in Red pepper flakes, oregano, and black sunflower seeds (and dried minced garlic) and usually have no issues outside. The red pepper REALLY amps up egg production and my birds put weight on so much better when that's in the feed. I just wish I could get a good base feed to keep it going.

I'm so happy to read this! I hope they continue to have a safe road to recovery🤗
