:(So we just got home with a 3 wk old baby boy angora,he has been on hie mom til now.I just tried the milk replacer but he doesn't care for it,I know that it might be to early for him but,i just need to know if this is going to work?I have read about others using VITAMIN D milk instead,ANY HELP???????????????????????

If you can't get goat's milk (which obviously is best), he can have whole cow's milk. Replacer is nasty stuff.

Thanks,I will try some whole milk, anything to do without mixing another bottle of that stinky stuff. No wonder he kept spitting it out.

I use whole cow's milk, but at 3 weeks you've got your work cut out for you!

Whole cow's milk here too. Unless you can find some fresh goats milk.
Haviris is right...you will have your hands full. After being on mom for 3 weeks he isn't going to like the bottle at all. It will take patience and persistance to get the little guy drinking from one.
Good Luck! I love angoras! In fact last Friday I was at a livestock auction and overheard someone talking about a baby angora going into the ring for sale. I had to leave until I knew it was sold...lol. I just can't trust myself not to bid with certain animals.

I bought my buckling from a goat dairy, and they just recommended two or three 12oz bottles a day. At three weeks old you really don't have to feed him every few hours unless you want to.
