Wow I just found this thread! That is so scary!

And I'm sorry for your losses.

If it were me, I would take all of our chickens and bring them inside and put them in the cement basement. And if that bear tries to break in, I'd like to see him try! We have a lab mix dog (also known as a "bear dog"), Nitro, who would take that bear down!



OK no, I'm kidding. Nitro is a wimp when it comes to that.

Although he could if he was trained to attack bears...but he's not...So if a bear ever broke into our house, well, it wouldn't be very good.

Although I still would bring the chickens inside.

I hope you catch that bear once and for all with that trap! When you do, be sure to post pictures of the culprit!
