What can i do?
I was told sugar water, she drank.
I was told egg yolk, she ate a little.
When i arrived an hour ago, she couldnt stand, her legs would give out. She can now stand for a short period. She pooped, watery with white, no other colour. She does not have pasty butt. She is 2 days old. Failure to thrive is what searches bring up. I refuse that answer, she did not go through the trouble of hatching to die now. Suggestions and help most appreciated!

I would dunk her beak in some warm water that i have quick chick or other brand vitamin electrolite in.
You are feeding a good chick starter?
I notice that you have shavings in the brooder, i usually dont use shavings until 3 or 4 days old as
Sometimes they eat the small portions of wood.
Also i notice you treated them with watermellon.
This kind of treating is fine when they are a couple weeks older but new chicks need there starter only, all they can eat, until they are established and stronger.
If your chick is down and unable to walk, i would portion her off a section of brooder by herself as she will be trampled and crushed by the other more lively ones. I use a section of hardware cloth. Her own water (with quick chick)and food and sufficent heat.
Good luck!

Thank you! I thought the fruit and veggies would be beneficial for the vitamins. I wont give them more. The chick starter is what ive used on all other chicks without issue, but this one seems runty, and i feel no food in the crop at all :(

So, I gave her warm water through an eye dropper, and i forcefed her some chick starter that i mushed also using warm water. I put her in the incubator for about 30 minutes. She was close to dead. She seems to be picking back up now! BUT and this is a big one, she still cant get her feet under her, they are always splaying out from under her. She wasnt born this way though! Can splay legs develop over time? How can i correct this?
