Help! What’s wrong with my goose!

I know this thread is mostly used for chickens but does anyone know what’s wrong with my pilgrim goose? He lost feathers on one side of his face below his eye. What do I do?!

Yes I have him and his partner in a 3 acre fenced in field. Im thinking it’s sunburn bc his beak looks a little redder than usual. Him and his partner have a kiddy pool that is cleaned daily.
