Help! What breed is my Chicken?

    I have recently adopted a chicken and I am having trouble identifying the breed.

    She's probably a Black Australorp or Australorp mix.

    Looks like a Black Australorp to me, or a mix of that breed.

    Being just a black bird, it could be something else entirely. I have two black pullets who appear similar. Their mother is a pure old line Barred Rock and the sire is a single factor barred rooster who is Delaware x BR. Because hens only pass a barring gene to their sons and the single barred male did not pass on his one barring gene, these pullets do not have a barring gene and are black. One has some silver streaking on the head and chest like a Black Sex Link would, but essentially, they are like yours. Here they are:
