help! what did this damage to everyones tail feathers? what animal?

Well, unless you have a toddler, my guess would be that they are doing it to each other as they roost at night. Mine take spells of pulling certain areas of feathers on each other after being cooped up for a spell. Last fall hardly any of the girls had tail feathers left. This winter they took to pulling out the EE's beards and each others neck feathers. HEY--if I wanted Turkens, I would have ordered Turkens!!

Same thing happened to my DB's Sumatras...turned out to be a free-ranging neighbor's beagle.

squirrels are rats with fuzzy tails. only even faster and more acrobatic.
