Help what does a chickens crawl feel like worried

my chicken that is 2 weeks old the crawl sticks out like a round ball and feels squishy wanted to make sure that is normal

Its fine, it just means he tanked up .

It's called a "crop" and it should be balled up and squishy. Check in the morning, it should have decreased in size.

yep-- just like "soda" or "pop" or even "Pepsi" (in referring to ALL carbonated drinks)......

I thought maybe my child ears heard my dad wrong all those years ago. I just KNEW he called it a crawl! Awesome and thanks for settling that question. I feel so country but that's my go to term for the crop, gizzard, whatever. Glad y'all know what I'm talking about and I'm not crazy. Not that kind of crazy anyway.

FYI, the gizzard is an entirely different apparatus. It is a muscular organ that takes the place of teeth. That is where the chicken stores her grit to grind her food, just before it enters the intestines.
