Hi there,
I'm brand new to keeping and to the forum!
Can you experienced guys please help me? About a week ago I bought my first 2 hens, what I was told were golden laced wyandotte bantams. However, they don't look exactly like some of the breed photo's I've seen and they don't have the distinctive yellow legs either!
They are laying regularly, once a day and produce a small, 5cm white to slightly off white egg. bigger than what I would consider a bantam egg to be like but then again I'm no expert.
My question is 2 fold;
1) what breed are they?
2) are they actually a bantam? They are hardly tiny hens
any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you
