What in the world am I looking at here?!? It was right under the roost...I noticed it when scooping out their poop and checking for eggs...all hens seem to be acting normal. It’s whitish and greenish in some parts? Is this intestinal lining?

There was also this dark green poo in with some normal poo that I scooped out that was right near whatever that is pictured above.

They look like soft shells without the contents. One of your hens oviduct plumbing gone wrong. Not much can be done. Ensure they have crushed oyster shell as free choice.
Ok thank you! I will get some tomorrow for her! One of the RIR lays eggs with a very thin shell so must be her...we’ve not been able to figure out for sure which one though.

I agree with @dawg53 in that …those look like egg membranes and shell-less eggs. The green color is puzzling. Reproductive disorders can include salpingitis, egg yolk peritonitis, cancer, ascites, and laying soft shell eggs. If calcium deficiency is not a problem, there may be a problem in the oviduct with the shell gland.

We have 2 RIRs and 2 Easter Eggers...I wonder if this came from one of the EEs then due to the greenish color?

@Eggcessive @dawg53
The EE that’s acting a little off just had this poop...what are your thoughts? Her vent appears ok from the outside and I felt around on the outside and couldn’t feel any stuck egg.

She’s out of the coop and walking around some and grazing a bit, but doesn’t seem as energetic. Her comb is a good color as well...
